Christian Rodríguez, M.Sc, MBA is a senior Associate of SQ Consult BV in the field of climate change with profound business knowledge of renewable energy and carbon market in Latin America. Christian worked at Orbeo, a carbon credit developer and buyer, joint venture between Rhodia energy and Societe Generale, and at OneCarbon, a carbon credit developer. In both companies Christian has successfully originated and managed a number of high profile projects such as the feasibility assessment, PDD development and monitoring plans for Clean Development Mechanism projects in Colombia, Chile, Peru and Ecuador. Prior to join OneCarbon, he worked for 4 years as a sustainability manager of the retail company D&S, subsidiary of Wal-Mart in Chile.

Christian obtained his M.Sc in engineering for sustainable development from Cambridge University (UK) on the topic ¨Impact analysis of a quote system for renewable energies in the Chilean energy market”. Thus, he obtained his MBA from Leeds Business school on the topic “Risk-cost analysis of the Chilean energy market, applying Portfolio theory: From the Renewable energy perspective¨.
