Laetitia is co-founder and director of SQ Consult BV. She holds an MA in Applied Economics and an MSc in Environmental Regulation, the combination of which she has used in diverse positions within the utilities business.

French national, she spent most of her career in the Netherlands, first with renewable energy and renewable energy certificates and then moving on to gas and electricity markets. After a year spent at Ecofys upon her arrival in the Netherlands, she joined the trading floor of Dutch utility Nuon where she worked on origination deals for two years before moving on to corporate strategy and merger and acquisition work. In her last year at Nuon she headed the strategy department of the Marketing and Sales division of Nuon.

Laetitia combines a solid understanding of the (dis)functioning of European gas and electricity and renewable markets with an affinity for legal/regulatory affairs. She completed a post-doc in Competition Law (European and Dutch) which allowed her to lead merger programmes at both the Dutch and European competition authorities and to file cases with both DG COMP and DG TREN.
