Anna works on EU energy and climate law and policy, with a particular focus on regulatory analysis, sustainable investment frameworks and the governance of the energy transition. Her work involves supporting EU institutions, national authorities and international organisations in the design, implementation and assessment of EU energy and climate legislation, including electricity market reforms, renewable energy frameworks and clean energy investment.
Before joining SQ Consult, she worked at the International Energy Charter, an intergovernmental organisation supporting international cooperation on energy investment, where she was a core member of the investment team responsible for the Energy Investment Risk Assessment (EIRA), an EU-coordinated project assessing legal and regulatory frameworks for sustainable energy investment across more than 30 member states. Her work included comparative legal and policy analysis, compliance and gap assessments, as well as the drafting of policy briefs and technical reports in support of policy dialogue and legislative alignment with EU climate and energy objectives. Earlier in her career, she worked as a legal practitioner on renewable energy–related investment arbitration cases.
She holds a Ph.D. in Law from the European University Institute in Florence.
